Apple Pudding

One of Great Aunt Mildred’s classics.

1/2 cup Butter or oleo
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups diced apples
2 teaspoon full soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Beat until smooth. Stir in apples and nuts. The mixture will be very thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
